I am really excited to finally have The Omega Project Beta in progress, and can’t wait to see what it turns into in the future.
The reason for our project is simple:
People rely on each other for help and answers because nobody is an expert at everything. Problem is, with the amount of “noise” all around us in this (almost annoyingly) fast changing digital age, it can be hard to find trustworthy answers out of the millions of results that pop up from a simple Google search. Worse still, sometimes the content of your concern is so specific (or personal) or complicated that the web at large just won’t suffice for a source of a satisfactory answer. That’s where we come in.
Imagine this – rather than getting bombarded with more answers than you can process, how would it benefit you to have a network of diverse, yet close knit, individuals who are experts in a variety of different fields ranging from finance, to health, to music etc.? (Simply put, life would be better)
The next issue was finding a group with this unique balance of diversified expertise and proven/established trust. Luckily, Omega Sigma Tau provides us with individuals that fit these criteria perfectly. We know that alumni from the organization are wildly successful in a broad spectrum of career fields, we know that there is a serious lack of communication between Omega alumni once they are out of college, and we know that there is a common problem with the “noise” in today’s innovative world.
Put those 3 pieces together and naturally, the only thing left to do was to create a platform over which Omega alumni can communicate effectively. With the level of trust that Omegas have for one another, and each Omega’s desire to mentor others, our project will bring together people who are specialists in various professions to help cancel out the “noise” in today’s world. Not only will we use the project to help people get past certain career hurdles, but we will also be strengthening the Omega alumni network by guiding people to create strong interpersonal relationships.
All of this starts with holding real discussions with each other, and there’s no better time to begin than now. Hope you can join us soon.
